Rafael is a Co-Founder and Venture Partner at ONEVC. Over the last decade, Rafael has advised and invested into leading technology companies around the globe.
He currently serves as a General Partner at Across Capital Partners, an investment firm focused on investing into category-leading software businesses in the U.S. and Latin America. Prior to founding Across Capital, Rafael was part of the Growth Equity team at Vulcan Capital, the multi-billion investment arm of Microsoft Co-Founder, Paul G. Allen. He previously served as an Investment Professional at Summit Partners, a global growth equity firm with $40 billion of AUM where he was responsible for sourcing and executing technology growth equity investments. He started his career at UBS Investment bank advising technology companies. Rafael has been a long-time believer in the technological revolution that is occurring across Latin America. Since 2013, he has been investing personally into tech businesses in the region and was an early angel investor in several breakout companies such as Creditas and Rappi, among others. Rafael graduated with distinction and business honors from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he earned a BS in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship & Corporate innovation.
