Kovi rents cars to ride-hailing drivers in Brazil and Mexico, giving on-demand workers access to the vehicle they need to earn a living.

Its mostly asset-light business model consists of leasing vehicles from manufacturers and leasing companies and subsequently subleasing them to drivers on ride-hailing platforms.

In January 2025 Kovi was acquired by Moove, a mobility fintech backed by Uber, creating a combined fleet of 36,000 cars. Kovi kept its name and its founder, Adhemar Milani, as CEO.
