Patagon AI is reshaping sales processes in Latin America through GenAI. By replacing costly SDR roles with AI-powered agents, Patagon automates sales qualification, follow-ups, and post-sales operations, providing faster, more efficient results with minimal human intervention. They currently serve companies in the Automotive and Real Estate sectors, where their AI agents have already achieved over 3x higher conversion rates compared to human SDRs, along with significant cost savings.

Beyond the team's unique position to execute this thesis, Patagon’s AI-driven platform creates strong lock-in. While traditional systems of record rely on manual workflows and data storage for defensibility, Patagon goes further and actually becomes the sales workflow for its clients, automating data extraction from unstructured sources like WhatsApp and integrating insights directly into a CRM. This shifts the platform from being a system of record to a system of action. Patagon is a quintessential case of Vertical AI and exemplifies how a startup can substitute labor-intensive and low value added work so that sales teams can focus on building real relationships with their clients.
