are builders

Our role is to ensure the builders we back always have the kind of support we wish we had when we were building ourselves. We embrace the journey alongside them, step by step, brick by brick.

Tenchi's mission is to build bridges across corporate ecosystems to minimize information asymmetry on security and compliance risk. The company was co-founded by seasoned cybersecurity entrepreneurs with 25+ years experience who have launched and sold two businesses in the space, including Niddel, an autonomous threat-detection startup sold to Verizon (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) in 2018; and Cipher, a global cybersecurity company acquired by Prosegur.

Tenchi launched an initial product called Zanshin that gives enterprise companies like Cielo, XP Investimentos, BTG Pactual, B3, and Telefónica visibility into the security risks present in their critical third parties. Third parties play an instrumental role in today’s business environment, and sensitive data is shared amongst companies that are part of their ecosystems.

The best investors

We've been on the other side: building.

Soul of Builders. Heart of risk-takers. Hands of operators. Mind of investors

Investment philosophy

ONEVC is a seed-stage venture capital firm backing builders across Latin America. We've helped build companies ourselves and know firsthand the courage, ambition, and energy it takes to build something from scratch. That experience shapes how we invest and how we partner: our builders are the protagonists, and being invited along for their journey is a privilege we don't take lightly. Our job is to serve them and do whatever we can to make them succeed.
